IMC Announces 11 Apparel and Social Occasion Markets in 2023

ATLANTA – November 15, 2022 – International Market Centers (IMC) has announced 2023 dates for its apparel markets running at AmericasMart Atlanta and The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas. With the addition of new buying events in both Atlanta and Las Vegas, IMC now offers 11 apparel and social occasion markets from January through October.
“The apparel industry continues to grow, and IMC’s apparel market calendar has expanded with it,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO. “In 2023, we will offer 11 different opportunities for the industry to source apparel and social occasion, coast-to-coast.”
For 2023, IMC is introducing updates to its Atlanta market dates and hours to optimize buying opportunities. The first floor, which opened just over one year ago to expanded Young Contemporary temporary exhibits as well as Cash & Carry, now will open a full day earlier than other floors with temporary exhibits, and begin receiving buyers on Tuesdays. All additional temporary floors – 2, 3, 4 and 5 – will run on their normal Wednesday through Friday schedule. Also new for 2023, Atlanta markets will adjust their hours (previously 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) to open earlier each day at 8:30 a.m., and temporary exhibits will close at 3:00 p.m. on their last day. Additionally, temporary exhibits will close at 3:00 on their last day as opposed to the previous 6:00 closing time. For markets with its final day on Saturday, only select showrooms will be open and appointments are encouraged.
Beyond exhibits, IMC’s apparel markets and sourcing events feature hallmark hospitality and daily at-market amenities and educational trend programming. The April and October markets also include the popular semi-annual season break fashion shows.
